This is a great palette for beginners. It was one of my first palettes (I picked mine up at a local Winners!) and I’ve still been using it ever since. It’s very versatile, and by that I mean you can make all kinds of different looks using just this palette. I also use the dark matte brown shade “sandstone” to fill in the eyebrows!

This is a great drugstore concealer. It is one of the most full coverage drugstore concealer’s that I have yet to get my hands on. I like to use this product under my eyes to highlight and cover my dark circles. Works great!

Very dewy product. I like to apply this before I set the face so I can also set this blush to avoid any transfer. This blush leaves your cheeks looking almost wet- in a good way I promise. The shade is the perfect peachy pink for my skin tone.

I was a little nervous to try this lipstick because of the moussey formula. I was pleasantly surprised by the sent, colour and formula of this product. Although it claims to be matte, it doesn’t dry down on the lips which I love. My lips feel moisturized and still look matte rather than dry and flaky like other liquid lipsticks would do.Very pleased by this product, the colour is also great for every day wear.

This product was a game changer for me. For 5 dollars this palette includes a very fine yellow powder for highlighting and bronzing powder for contouring. Both are great quality! I used the banana shade religiously to set my under eyes until I dropped the palette and the yellow powder smashed. Luckily, the bronzer didn’t. I still use the bronzing shade everyday; blends like a dream and looks so natural and sun kissed.

I had a bad first impression when I tried this highlighter out. When I applied it with my real techniques contouring brush, there was little to no colour payoff. I decided to try it on top of my colourpop highlighter and applied it with a blending brush (yes,  one for your eyes) and my highlight was blinding! Try it out for yourself.

This is my holy grail drugstore foundation. It is suitable for normal-oily skin, medium to full coverage and has a satin finish. It coveres all my flaws yet still looks natural.  Also extremely affordable!

One of my favourite Youtuber’s Kathleen Lights mentioned this highlighter in one of her videos and I had to get my hands on it. I was surprised by the formula, but content with the natural golden glow it leaves on my cheeks. Perfect for everyday.

Everyone and their mother has tried this before. It’s cheep,  and it works!
Thank you, until next time!!

Great product recommendations! I personally love the Maybelline fit me line! If you haven’t tried it yet you should totally try out the Maybelline fit me foundation stick. It pairs really well with the fit me liquid foundation!

I love that Stila palette! Such a good combo of colours and textures (although I’m all about that Kitten). That lipstick looks really pretty too. Lovely post! 🙂

Love this post! Love the makeup included too, I’ve only tried a few of these products but I’d like to try some more – particularly the matte lipgloss by mabelline. Would you mind giving my blog a look at? I’m new to all this and would love some advice?X
