LA Girl PRO Conceal HD Concealer Review

Yesterday I posted a mini haul which included two of the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealers-

I purchased the shades Peach Corrector (for hyperpigmentation), and Natural to highlight my under eyes for $8.99 each at my local Urban Planet.

Here are the two shades swatched on my hand-

These can be found in the US for around $4 which is a great price for a Concealer in my opinion!

First things first, I purchased these products completely sealed in plastic wrap from the store. Once I got home and opened them for the first time, it was obvious that the Peach Corrector tube was completely full, and Natural was HALF EMPTY. There is a huge difference in the amount of product that is in each tube, yet they both claim to contain 8ml of product.

I took it upon myself to message the company regarding the inconsistency, and they have yet to clear this up! Let me know in the comments if this has ever happened to you, or if you’ve heard of something similar! Either way, I was not impressed…

Shade Range |

As you can see they have so many different shades to choose from including Highlight, Contour, and Colour Correcting shades!

In store I found it rather difficult to find which shade would work best for me through the tube. I would recommend trying a few testers!

Claims |

Directly from L.A. Girl Cosmetics website:

Crease-resistant, opaque coverage in a creamy yet lightweight texture. The long-wearing formula camouflages darkness under the eyes, redness and skin imperfections. Provides complete, natural-looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines around the eyes.

Packaging |

This product comes in a transparent squeezable tube and a brush at the tip to distribute the concealer. I appreciate the screw on cap!

Overall, I do not really like the brush on the end- I find the product squeezes out the sides and makes a mess rather than evenly applying the concealer.

First Impression |

Besides the fact that one was half empty… These can be a good drugstore dupe for many high end concealers currently on the market!

This concealer takes a while to blend into my foundation, but it looks good on the skin. It does a decent job at covering my (very bad) dark circles, but it tends to crease! Although, the longevity of this concealer is very good!

I like this product. I do not love it as I did in the beginning. I find it a little drying, creases under the eyes, and doesn’t look very natural. But for 5$, it’s worth it and does the job!

Thanks so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed my review on the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealers. I would definitely recommend this product to all the makeup junkies out there looking for an affordable concealer!
